SHERIFF MATTHEW T. WARD

Sheriff Ward began his career of service at 18, serving our country as a United States Marine before beginning his law enforcement career in 1996 as an Auxiliary Deputy with the Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office, where he has been serving since. Elected to office in 2019 and again in 2023, Sheriff Ward has served the citizens of Botetourt County for over 28 years.
